To all of our Tiger fans,

We are excited to announce the return of our Fall sports. To ensure everyone’s safety, we will be following the “Return to Play” guidelines outlined by the governor’s Executive Order 180, the MHSAA, and the Blue Water Area Conference. The hope is that the protocols put in place will allow us to keep our athletes competing for the duration of the season.

In accordance with the guidelines, please note that the following apply:

Participants:

Volleyball, soccer, football and sideline cheer must wear a mask at all times before, during, and after a contest.

Cross country, tennis, and golf must wear a mask at all times unless they are competing and can maintain 6 feet of distance from other athletes.

Spectators:

In line with the governor’s current executive order, attendance will be limited at all sporting events. 

Each competing athlete will give respective coaches the names of 2 spectators that will be put on a pass list to enter the games. There will be no exceptions to this directive. Team coaches will provide the athletes information on how to turn in their names for entry. Anyone that is listed on the pass list will be required to show proper ID and be checked into the event. Anyone not listed on the pass list will not be allowed to enter the venue. Again, only players, coaches, designated game workers, officials and those on the pass list will be allowed to enter an event.

All spectators must wear a mask the entire time while in the venue and continue to wear it until they exit the venue. Anyone observed not wearing a mask will be asked to leave the game and the school campus. All spectators must sit with their family and social distance at least 6 feet apart from other spectators. There will be concessions at outdoor events only, i.e. football. If you purchase food from the concession stand, you may remove your mask once you have returned to your seat to eat and put your mask back on when finished.

There will be no re-entry to any event. Once spectators enter the venue, they will not be allowed to leave until the event is over. If you leave during the event for any reason, you will not be allowed to return for that event.

We are very fortunate for our athletes to be able to take the fields, courts, and running courses. It is our hope that all involved in an event will follow the guidelines provided by the state and the league so our athletes can enjoy a full season of their chosen sport. Even though limited, it was a pleasant surprise we are allowed to have spectators. Let’s all do our part to make this fall season happen and give our athletes a memorable experience.
