Armada Varsity Girls Basketball dominated the 2nd half to defeat Yale 45-34 on the road Tuesday night. The Tigers out scored the Bulldogs 17-2 in the 3rd quarter and held their BWAC rival to 9 second half points. Claire Sniesak lead the scoring attack with 16 points and 7 rebounds followed by Meya Drob with 11 points and 7 rebounds, Ellla Sutton with 6 points and 14 rebounds. Alayna Nowak and Emma Cleland each had 4 points. Ashlyn Upton and Hailey Schramm had 2 points a piece. Armada out-rebounded Yale 45-17 and finished with 13 assists. The victory puts the girls all alone in 2nd place in the BWAC with a 5-1 record heading into Friday nights matchup against Cros-Lex at the Armada HS Gymnasium. Come out to cheer on the team to another important win!
