Last night the girls varsity basketball team raised their record to 10-1 overall and 5-0 in the BWAC by defeating Almont 44-26. The girls jumped out to a 12-2 lead in the first quarter and displayed great team defense the rest of the way. They also showed balanced scoring as ten different players scored. Caitlin Rawlins had 11 points and 2 blocked shots. Joanie Seefried had 9 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 blocked shots. Maddie Sutton with 6 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals. The next game is this Friday at Imlay City.
