Last night the varsity girls basketball team traveled to Richmond and defeated their rivals by a score of 58-42. They jumped out to a first quarter lead of 14-6 and never lost the lead the rest of the way. Ten different players joined in the scoring for the Tigers. Maddie Sutton with 13 points and 4 rebounds, Caitlin Rawlins and Annika Prall-Stankewitz each with 12 points. Sara Lesnesky with 7 points and 4 rebounds. Joanie Seefried made her presence noticed on the defensive end with 7 steals and 5 blocked shots. The team is now 3-0 in the BWAC and 8-0 overall. Their next game is Friday at Capac.
