Last night the girls varsity basketball team improved their overall record to 12-5 with a victory over Memphis. The team struggled early on to score, but later found their way to the basket. Maddie Sutton led all scorers with 14 points. Marz Bell contributed 11 points and 8 rebounds. Sara Lesnesky added 6 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals. The teams next game is home this Friday when they take on first place Cros-lex at 6pm. Friday is also Seniors night where players will be recognized between the girls and boys games.
