Last week the girls varsity basketball team won the New Haven Holiday Classic tournament by defeating New Haven the first day 59-15 and followed that up the next day with a win over Parkway Christian in the Championship game 44-33. It was a complete team effort in both games especially on the defensive end from Emily Stefanich and Allison Polzin. Sara Lesnesky and Caitlin Rawlins were the leading scorers in both games. The Lady Tigers next game is this Friday at Yale.
