The Armada Tigers freshman boys team has gotten off to a rough start (0-2), in their 2016-17 campaign. However, that is not stopping the determination of the team to reach new heights this season. The boys dropped a close game Tuesday night at Marine city Cardinal Mooney. With under two minutes in the fourth, the two teams were only seperated by 3 points. It wasn't over until P. Witkowski nailed two 3's in a row with time winding down.
The young Tigers have a short turnaround before their next contest at Notre Dame Prep, Friday the 16th. Coach Ballor had this to say; "Rebounding is going to be our bread and butter this season. we have to control the glass, and play defense from the inside out."
Only time will tell if the boys can make the adjustments they need, and get the ball rolling towards success.
