The JV Boys Basketball team opened the season with a home game against Memphis High School. The tight defense from the start of the game allowed the boys to get an early lead on the team. The dominating defense never stopped the entire night, as the Tigers only allowed 2 points at the half and 5 points in the second, resulting in a 45 to 7 victory over the Yellow-Jackets.
Josh Haley lead the team with 15 points, Roco Trupiano scored 8, Nate Nichols added 5, Andrew Pastor scored 4 and 6 other players added points as well.
