After a long season on the gridiron there were five Armada football players whose performances were among the best in Macomb County. These players were recognized at the All-County Banquet on Monday night. The first of these five players was Senior Linebacker Trent Grabowski who received 1st Team Defense All-County Tier 2 recognition (Tier 2 includes schools with enrollments less than 1,500 students). Later in the evening Trent was announced for All-Macomb County Defensive 2nd Team, this is a group compiled by the sports writers of the Macomb Daily and is a combination of Tier 1 and 2 athletes. Senior Defensive Back Mitchell Schafer received 1st Team All-County Tier 2 and Honorable Mention All-Macomb County Defensive Team. Senior Quarterback Jared Couch was recognized with 2nd Team All-County Offense Tier 2 and was also a part of the All-Macomb County Team as an Honorable Mention. Senior Lineman Ziggy Bell was recognized with All-County Offensive 2nd Team and also added Honorable Mention for the All-Macomb County Team. Jackson Mahaffy, a force for the Tigers in the middle of the defense at Linebacker was Honorable Mention All-County Tier 2. After a season to remember these players hope to have left a lasting impression on the Tigers football program.
