Armada boys basketball team defeated Algonac on Tuesday 70-27.
Mitch Ruczynski led all scorers 17 points, including 4 three pointers. Dylan Szafranski followed with 16 points, including 4 three pointers, and Adam Job with 15 points. Cam Hart scored 10 points plus 15 rebounds to dominate the paint. Kenny Simmons added 5 points, Josh Bowman added 3 points, and Jaden VandenBrouck and Conner Mackenzie chipped in 2 points a piece. Justin Herbert played stellar defense and offense, adding 3 big assists and Conner Pierson brought 4th quarter energy.
The team returns to action on Friday against Cros Lex at home. The girls take on Cros Lex at 6pm in a battle for first place, and the boys play at 7:30 to keep pace with the top of the league. Also, PLT is hosting their annual Relay for Life Pasta Dinner, so donate to a great cause and come support girls and boys basketball.
