The JV Girls Basketball team came away with a 33-23 win against Capac Thursday night. It was a tough game but the girls defense held up. Again, every girl on the team had at least 1 steal. Leading the team with a double-double was Nicole Beechie. She had 13 points, 15 rebounds and 5 steals. Kalie Kopytek had 10 points, 3 rebounds and 3 steals and Kyra Sutton had 4 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals. Their next game is Tuesday at Marlette.
