The JV Girls Basketball suffered first loss against Almont tonight. It was a very evenly matched game and it tested the girls the entire time. With the score at half time being even at 10 each. From there, the game stayed as even with the score tied at 24 with less than a minute left. Almont scored and went up by 2. Armada pressured them and eventually fouled an Almont player with 5.8 seconds left. She made both of the free throws and put then up 28-24. Even though it was a loss, the girls all played hard the entire game. Scoring was led by Kyra Sutton with 8 points. She was followed by Nicole Beechie and Alex Childers each with 4. Emma Gillies, Lillie Chojnacki and Mady Ruczynski eachscored also. Special thanks to Jenna Murasco and Brooke Niebauer for coming up from the freshman team to help us out!
