JV Girls Basketball starts off the year with a win against Hazel Park

The JV girls basketball team opened the season by defeating the Hazel Park Vikings tonight 28-21. They had a 15-6 lead at halftime. Hazel Park fought back and tied the game at 21. Armada scored the next 7 points and pulled together on defense. Thanks to great effort and teamwork from everyone, Hazl Park did not score another point against them. The scoring was led by Nicole Beechie with 8. She was followed by Alex Childers and Mady Ruczynski, both with 5 and Kyra Sutton with 4. There next game is Thursday, December 7, 6:00 at home against Almont.
