ALGONAC HIGH SCHOOL: 33
The Armada Girls Varsity Basketball team ended the regular season with a 50-29 victory over Richmond. Meya Drob lead all scorers with 19 pts. including five 3 pointers. Sydney Upton had 11 pts., Ashlyn Upton scored 7, Darrah Mackenzie and Ella Sutton each scored 4 while Ava Baltierra and Brooklyn Pratt pitched in with 2 pts each and Marti Obry scored 1. The team finished the regular season with a 13-8 record, 9-5 in the BWAC and will host District playoffs next week. Come out on Wednesday, 3/1/22 at 7:00 for the District semi-final where Armada will play the winner of Mondays game between St. Clair and Richmond.
