RICHMOND HIGH SCHOOL: 29
The Girls Varsity Basketball team defeated Algonac 36-33 on Senior Night. Seniors Meya Drob and Ella Sutton lead the team in scoring with 13 pts and 8 pts respectively. Darrah Mackenzie had a strong game with 6 pts., 7 rebounds and 4 steals. Ava Baltierra pitched in with 3 pts., while Jenna Maday, Ashlyn Upton and Sydney Upton each scored 2. The win improves the team's record to 12-8 on the season and 8-5 in the BWAC with Richmond coming to town Thursday for the final regular season game. Come out to support the girls as they complete another successful regular season before hosting District playoffs next week. A special thanks to Seniors Brooklyn Pratt, Ella Sutton and Meya Drob for the years of commitment, dedication and leadership you have each brought to the Program.
