ALGONAC HIGH SCHOOL: 15
The girls varsity basketball team beat Algonac 31-15 on Friday January 3rd. The Tigers were lead in scoring by Nicole Beechie with 13 followed by Emma Gillies with 7 points. It was a balanced scoring effort with seven players scoring for Armada. It was also a stellar defensive effort limiting Algonac to 8 points through 3 quarters. Nicole Beechie lead the defensive effort with five blocked shots and five defensive rebounds. The victory brings Armadas league record to 1-2 with games at Davison on January 7th and home against Almont on January 10th.
