Russ Collins

Coach Collins is in his 2nd year ast the Girls Middle School 8th grade coach, his 4th year as the Tigers varsity boys head coach and is in his 31st year of coaching with 28 as a head coach. He has coached at Hamtramack St. Florian, Hamtramak HS, New Haven, Harper Woods and now in Armada. His record over the 30 years is 236-285 with 6 Metro Conference titles, 2 MHSAA District titles, and 11 District FInals appeances. He has been named the BCAM coach of the year, Metro Conference coach of the year. He has been a BCAM Hall of Fame nominee and is a member of BCAM and S.E.M.L.A.C. and was an original member of the State of MIchigan Gender Equity Committee.
