The varsity girls softball team completed their league play on Thursday May 24th with a double header sweep of Almont.
In game 1, Armada topped Almont 8-4 on Lexi Hill Pitching all 7 innings giving up 6 hits, stiking out 5 and giving up only 3 walks. At the plate, Alex Childers was 3 for 4 with a double and an RBI. Haley Thompson was 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI while Joannie Seefried and Felicia Schmidt had 2 RBI's each.
In game 2, Armada finished the sweep winning 3-2. Sydne Kujawa pitched a complete game giving up 10 hits and walking no one. Hitting for the Tigers, Joannie Seefried was 2 for 3 and scored a run. Madison Ruczynski had a Triple and an RBI and Sara Lesnesky was able to knock in 2 RBI's as well.
The Tigers finish regular season play 14-11 overall and 10-4 in the BWAC.
