Armada won both games of their Doubleheader last night against Yale. In game 1 a 5-1 win. Braden Korchmar got the win going 6 innings and striking out 6. The offense was led by Tommy Killop and Mitch Ruczynski who each had two hits and two RBI's, and Adam Job with two hits and Korchmar helped himself with his first home run of the year to lead off the 5th inning! In game 2 a 9-4 win Adam Job got the win going 5 innings and striking out 3. The offense had a bunch of leaders in game 2, Job went 3 for 3 with a walk, and Mitch Ruczynski and Jared Couch both had 3 hits and 2 RBI's and Korchmar added 2 hits. Armada is now 13-6 overall and 7-1 in the league. The tigers play again on Saturday at Royal Oak High School.
