Armada girls soccer team may have youth in their lineup but that doesn't stop them from winning. The lady Tigers competed in the last round of the BWAC soccer tournament on Monday against Algonac and came up with the win placing them 3rd for the tournament.
The Tigers 3-0 shutout was won by hard work and tough defense. Scoring was done by Jenna Nikles who had 2 goals in the contest. Emma Coenen was able to send one into the net after fighting injury for most the year. Getting assists in the game were Bethany Ruczinski and Ellenia Todd who had one and two assists repectively.
Next up the Tigers play at Royal Oak on May 17th, game time is 5:30pm.
