The Armada Boys’ Varsity Tennis Team ended their BWAC dual match part of their season with a 6-2 defeat of Yale yesterday.  Armada is in 1^st place with a record of 4 wins, 0 losses and 1 tie going into the BWAC League Tournament which will be held in Armada on Saturday, October 2.

Winning their flights against Yale yesterday were Jim Buns at 3^rd singles and Jaret Hill at 4^th singles.  Winning their doubles matches were 1^st doubles Colton Smith and Jack Davis, 2^nd singles John Bommarito and Josh Dobson, 3^rd doubles Ty Vanlerberghe and Jacob Meerschaert, and 4^th doubles Drew Blake and Nathan Merzlak.

Armada has 4 extra team players.  Yesterday those 4 extra players won their exhibition doubles matches against Yale in straight sets; they were Jacob Dean and Drew Reese, and Charlie Beck and Colton Germundson.

Armada hosts the Armada Tiger Invite this Saturday, September 18.  Teams in the Quad are Armada, Ford II, Fraser and Stevenson, play starts at 8:30 a.m.
