The boys/ varsity tennis team defeated Imlay City at Imlay City yesterday 5-3. Winning their singles matches in straight sets were 2nd singles, Matthew Offner and 3rd singles George Ferrari. Armada’s 1st doubles team of Drake Haase and Anthony Offner also won in straight sets. Armada was behind as a team in the match 3-2 when their 2nd doubles team of Zach Schember and Brian Bell won in three sets to tie the team match; then in a 3 hour match Armada 3rd doubles team of Jadon Hill and Josh Clarin also won in three sets to make the final score Armada 5, Imlay City 3. The tennis team is now 5-4 overall and 2-2 in the BWAC.
