ARMADA 15, YALE 13: Armada quarterback Jared Couch’s long pass was intercepted as time expired, but the Yale defender ran into the end zone and was tackled for a safety that broke a 13-all tie and lifted the host Tigers to the victory that snapped Armada’s 12-game losing streak.
Couch threw touchdown passes of 51 and 77 yards to Mitch Shafer. Couch finished with seven completions for 195 yards.
Dylan Szafranski had 12 tackles for the Tigers, and Shafer had 10.
Armada’s previous victory came in Week 8 of the 2014 season.
