The Armada boys basketball team defeated arch-rival Richmond on Wednesday by a score of 64-41, despite missing the Tiger's awesome student section. The Tigers never trailed in the game and overcame a sluggish first quarter with an 18-9 run in the second quarter. A strong defensive shift in the second and third quarter kept the Tigers in the lead for the game.
Lead the the boys in scoring was Andrew Sniesak with 15 points and 10 rebounds, followed by Eric Keding with 13 points- 12 points coming in the second half after first half foul trouble. Alec Albrecht added 11 points, followed by Kaleb Sutton and Connor Mackenzie with 7 points apiece. Josh Bowman, Cole Mahaffy, Jadon Hill, and Nathan Schapman also got on the stat sheet.
The boys return to action on Friday vs Yale at home.
