The Varsity Boys basketball team defeated rival Richmond yesterday 55-44. Leading the Tigers was Cam Hart with a huge game of 26 points and 10 rebounds. Mitch Ruczynski and Dylan Szafranski added 10 points each, and Adam Job chipped in 9. Conner Mackenzie played tough defense all night and Kenny Simmons brought a big spark off the bench. It was a total team effort with every player contributing to the overall team win. The Tigers return to action on Friday at Cros Lex with the Varsity girls playing at 6pm and boys at 7:30pm.
The boys would also like to extend a huge thank you to the student section and to Mr. Bobek and the Pep Band who brought noise all night to make the gym loud, fun, uncomfortable to the opponent, and most of all memorable to all who attended.
