For the fourth Friday in a row, the Girls JV Basketball team led off the Friday night triple header with a victory. The ladies used a balanced scoring attack and good defense to defeat the visiting Spartans, 48-28. The Spartans led early on but the Tigers had found their rhythm by the end of the first quarter and built a 20-14 lead at the half. The Spartans remained close throughout the third quarter but the Tigers relentless defense proved to be too much in the fourth quarter.
Three players reached double figures for the Tigers, as Kyla Voss's sharpshooting earned her 11 points, while Emily Rewers and Meg Kubik added 10 points a piece.
The ladies will be back in action this coming Tuesday, January 28th as they host the Pioneers from Croswell Lexington.
