Friday night was the annual "Rivals Against Cancer" basketball game and the Armada Girls JV Basketball team started off the evening with a convincing 30-10 victory over the visiting Richmond Blue Devils.
The Tigers were led in scoring by Meg Kubik with 12 points while Ella Sutton added 11. A stellar defensive effort saw the Tigers record 39 steals in the game led by Alayna Nowik with 10 steals and Elli Couch with 9 steals.
The Tigers will be idle until next Friday when they host the Spartans from Imlay City.
