Girls JV Basketball Wins with fast start vs. Almont

ALMONT HIGH SCHOOL: 22

The Girls JV Basketball team hosted Almont Friday night and used a fast start to take control of the game. The Tigers came out with an aggressive game plan and were leading 19-4 at the half. Almont fought back in the second half before the Tigers closed the game out for the 32-22 victory.

The Tigers were lead in scoring by Cailey Miller with 12 points. Meg Kubik and Ella Sutton both added 6 points while Emily Rewers and Alayna Nowik both chipped in 4 points a piece.

The ladies will be visiting North Branch on Tuesday.
