Varsity Girls Basketball Wins Season Opener
Armada girls beat Marlette tonight 55-33 in a non-league season opening game played at Armada High School. The short-handed Tigers were lead in scoring by Claire Sniesak with 20 pts followed by Ashlyn Upton with 16 and Meya Drob with 13. Sydney Upton pitched in with five points and Ella Sutton had 2. Armada controlled the pace of the game from the opening tip scoring the first seven points of the game. The team looks to add another win on Friday when they travel to Notre Dame Prep to battle the Fighting Irish. Nice job girls!
