Congratulations to the boys and girls cross country teams for a couple of tough performances over the past week.  Last Wednesday at the Brown City invite, both teams ran tough.  On the boys side, Riley Andrews and Alex Line won medals in the top 30, while Jack Davis, Tyler Buckland and Reese Neddermeyer had strong performances.  Yesterday at the Lapeer Halloween Invite, Andrews continued his medal-winning ways again, and runners like Jack Zagaiski, Clay Hycki and Jacob Meerschaert had nice days on a tough course.

On the girls side, the team took 3rd place at Brown City, out of 10 teams, with 6 medalists in the top 30 including Maddie Smith, Alayna Nowik, Ava Zobay, Ashlyn Upton, Sydney Upton and Lyndsie Naniewicz.  Yesterday in Lapeer, Maddie Smith won a medal yet again, while Camille Verlinde, Madison Capozzo, Samantha Hayward and Emily Masterson rocked out great runs on a tough course.
